Tetrahedron
These tensegrities are based on the tetrahedron: the platonic solid consisting of four equilateral triangles.
Icosahedron
These tensegrities are based on the icosahedron: the platonic solid consisting of twenty equilateral triangles. Note that the dodecahedron, being the dual of the icosahedron, shows up in many of these constructions.
Octahedron
These tensegrities are based on the octahedron: the platonic solid consisting of eight equilateral triangles. Note that the cube, being the dual of the octahedron, shows up in many of these constructions.
Truncated Tetrahedron
